Terms and Conditions

This Agreement is made between you, herein referred to as the “Client” and Suzy Kell, herein referred to as the "Coach".

COVID-19 PROTECTION

At the present time there is a government mandate to wear personal protective equipment to ensure there is no spread of Covid-19. The Coach will provide masks, face shields and gloves for the session and will remain at least 2 meters from the Client during in-home sessions. The Client must wear a face covering at minimum for in-home sessions to proceed.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY

The Coach provides a professional and confidential service. Client details will not be disclosed to third parties. Testimonials will only be reproduced with the knowledge and consent of the client concerned. Photographs may be taken at the beginning, during and end of the session to demonstrate change and to inspire others via the Coach’s social media channels. These will always be anonymous. There is a space at the bottom of this agreement to indicate whether or not you consent to photographs being taken via your signature.

PAYMENT POLICY

Invoices for payment will be sent ahead of decluttering sessions and payment is due by the day of the session. Invoices will be sent via email or phone number and can be paid by bank transfer or with a credit card. Where available, payment can be made directly on the www.gentledeluttering.com​ website

CANCELLATION POLICY

Both the Coach and the Client have the right to cancel the contract due to unavoidable circumstances. If the client cancels between 48 hours and the agreed date and time, the coach reserves the right to charge 50% of the amount due.

LIMITS OF WORK

The Coach is happy to undertake some light cleaning to assist the decluttering and organising process, but please note that Gentle Decluttering does not provide a cleaning service.

REMOVAL OF ITEMS

The Coach works with you, the Client, with your own belongings. Any items not belonging to you should be decluttered with the express permission of the person concerned, who should also sign below. You are responsible for all items disposed of in the decluttering process. The Coach is not licensed to dispose of refuse and will not bring the bags of donations to a charity shop following the session. However, if you would like assistance packing donation items into your car or driving together to a donation unit during the allotted time for the session, that can be arranged. Free charity pickup or paid services can be arranged during the session also.

DISCLAIMER

Advice is given in good faith. It is always the Client's decision whether to follow any advice given. The Coach can thus accept no responsibility for actions the Client takes on the basis of that advice or encouragement or their consequences whether at the time of consultation, engagement in the coaching process, or at any subsequent or future date following any engagement or consultation.

DATA PROTECTION

As part of our work together I will collect personal data from you in order to provide services as a Decluttering Coach, and keep in contact with you. This personal data will include your name, email address, home address, phone number and notes from our sessions. I will only use this information to fulfil this contract and will not sell or share it with any third party. All information will be stored securely in line with current legislation.

At the end of our coaching relationship:

- I will keep a copy of this contract for five years. - I will keep copies of invoices for seven years.
